One of the great mysteries of the 21st century has been what on Earth Tom Brady would do if and when he finally retired.
And now that the former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback has officially retired as of February, he's certainly keeping busy.

The 46-year-old has divorced his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen, with whom he shares two children. In May 2022, before Brady had officially retired, Fox Sports announced the NFL star would join as a color commentator on the network for a deal valued at $375 million over 10 years.
Shortly thereafter, Netflix (NFLX) -) said that Brady would sign on as an executive producer for its forthcoming series "Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROAT."
And in March, Brady purchased a minority stake in Women's National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Aces, followed by his signing on to be a minority owner and chairman at the Birmingham City football club.
For the most part, Brady's dealings have remained in the sports world. Whether he's commenting, in the front office of burgeoning clubs, or promoting his presence as a sports star, the Super Bowl champ has kept mostly to athletic ventures post-retirement.
Until now.
Tom Brady has a sky-high venture
The football star is finally taking his star power to the skies, signing on as a long-term strategic adviser with Delta Air Lines (DAL) -).
Brady, whose mom was a flight attendant during his childhood, will assist with Delta's employee programs, strategy, community outreach and brand recognition.
"In his first year, Brady will work closely with Delta’s employees for onboarding, cultural familiarity and immersion into the Delta organization," Delta wrote in a Sept. 6 news release.
"Brady will also appear on [Chief Executive Ed] Bastian’s 'Gaining Altitude'– a one-on-one discussion series featuring important conversations around overcoming adversity, performance, perseverance and more."
Brady focus at Delta: staff, customers, community
The length of the partnership is unclear, but it seems to be at least a multiyear agreement based on Delta's plans for the football star.
"Growing up with a mother as a flight attendant, I have always admired the people that make seamless air transportation possible," Brady said in a statement.
"Throughout my career, my teammates and I flew Delta countless times, spending hours traveling for some of the most important games of our lives, even celebrating Super Bowl wins on the plane.
"Those championship teams were built off of great leadership and a commitment to excellence, and Delta certainly shares those qualities. Now, alongside Ed and the Delta team, I look forward to playing my part to continue the company’s success."
Brady will focus on driving internal growth and excitement in three main areas: employees, customers, and community.
Celebrity brand partnerships are nothing new, but Delta seems to be planning to use Brady's star power internally as opposed to a photo op, leveraging his "teamwork tools" and "inspiring the next generation of Delta community leaders."
