Boston’s greatest sports legend has bestowed one of the city’s top current talents with an amazing gift.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum shared on his Instagram page that seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady sent him a personalized framed jersey.
Tatum posted a picture of a framed No. 12 Patriots jersey, illustrating a special message of respect from the Hall of Fame-bound quarterback.
“Jayson, L.F.G. I love watching you play! Good luck, 7X SB champ.” Brady inscribed on the No. 2 portion of the jersey - with his signature taking up the majority of the No. 1.

While Brady items are coveted among collectors in the sports memorabilia industry, this inscription is obviously special to the four-time NBA All-Star.
It appears that Brady may have sent Tatum the jersey to help raise his spirits after the Celtics star converted just one of six attempts from three-point range in the Celtics’ 116-115 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
