The mystery surrounding Tom Brady’s absence from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may soon draw to a close. According to a new report, Brady is expected to return to the team “very shortly.”
Brady announced earlier this month that he would be stepping away from the Buccaneers for a “personal issue.” At the time, it was stated that it was a previously-scheduled absence, that Brady and the team had discussed well in advance.
That did not stop speculation about the reason from the absence, with reasons ranging from perhaps shooting a movie for his production company, 199 Productions, or even an appearance on FOX’s “The Masked Singer,” a theory that took off on social media:

Adam Schefter reported on the expected return Sunday morning, but did not elaborate on the reason for his absence:
Bucs’ QB Tom Brady is expected to return to the team, per a source, “very shortly.” Brady left the team earlier this month for personal reasons.

With Brady now expected to return, perhaps we are that much closer to finding an answer.
