Tom Brady and Mike Pereira hated A.J. Brown’s controversial early offensive pass interference penalty

Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans started with an officiating controversy, as the refs questionably waved off a big Philadelphia Eagles pass on fourth down because of offensive pass interference.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts hit wide receiver A.J. Brown for a big gain to keep the team’s first offensive drive going.

However, that very shaky flag was thrown immediately after the pass because of an offensive pass interference call on Brown.

It looked, to be very kind, like a bad call … and didn’t exactly help all of those “the refs are rigging the games for the Kansas City Chiefs” narratives.

The Fox Sports broadcast team didn’t understand why this was called on Brown, as Tom Brady and Mike Pereira both questioned why this flag was thrown.

“Don’t like that one bit,” Brady said on the game broadcast.
