'Told you' - Man City fans send same Arsenal title race message after West Ham draw

Arsenal dropped what could be a crucial two points in the Premier League on Sunday, drawing 2-2 at strugglers West Ham United.

Mikel Arteta's side threw away a two-goal lead for the second consecutive game at the London Stadium. Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard handed the Gunners an early lead and they looked set to cruise to the three points, but Said Benrahma's penalty pulled one back for the Hammers to up the pressure.

Arsenal had the chance to re-establish their two-goal advantage shortly after half-time but Bukayo Saka sent his penalty wide of Lukasz Fabianski's right-hand post. And then minutes later, West Ham equalised through Jarrod Bowen.

Despite still having 35 minutes to reassert themselves, Arsenal were unable to rediscover their groove and rarely threatened the West Ham goal. Two points dropped leaves the Gunners four points clear at the top, although Manchester City have a game in hand and that crucial meeting at the Etihad to come on April 26.

After what could be a decisive moment in the title race, Blues supporters took to social media to share their reaction.

Arsenal can extend their lead over City to seven points before the pair meet later this month, with Pep Guardiola's side not playing a league fixture between now and then. The Blues travel to Bayern Munich for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday before an FA Cup semi-final clash with Sheffield United at Wembley next weekend.

Arsenal host bottom-of-the-league Southampton at the Emirates next weekend, before the massive meeting at the Etihad the following Wednesday.
