Todd Cantwell has welcomed Kieran Dowell to Rangers with a simple four word message.
The Norwich City midfielder will join his old Carrow Road team-mate at Ibrox this summer after penning a pre-contract. The deal will run for three seasons as he becomes Michael Beale's first piece of the summer jigsaw in terms of incomings. The Light Blues officially announced the departures of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander with the five stars given an Ibrox farewell from the supporters following the midweek clash with Hearts.
It's set to be a big summer of transition in Govan with Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin arriving in January to kick-off the recruitment drive. Dowell becomes the third signing under Beale since he took over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst with a host of further new arrivals expected to follow. The likes of Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, Auston Trusty, Ike Ugbo and Luis Palma are just some of the names linked.

But Dowell is now a done deal and Cantwell wasted no time in sending a welcome message to his pal. He wrote on Instagram: "Welcome to the famous" alongside a picture of him in a Rangers polo-shirt signing his contract.
Speaking after securing his move, Dowell said: “I am buzzing, obviously I am really glad to get it done early and towards the end of the season, I spoke with the manager a few months before the season ended, I am so glad to get it done so early.
“Obviously it is the first time I have sort of been out of contract anywhere, letting my contract run down at Norwich City, you want to be sorted to go back into pre-season and just have a proper pre-season with the lads and get to know everyone before the season starts
“I know a lot of Rangers fans and a lot of Scottish lads from previous clubs, they just speak so highly of the club, the intensity and the pressure of it, which I guess is a really good pressure, you are expected to win every game and obviously the European games, there is so many positives that really convinced me to come here.
“It is class, really nice, obviously the historic which we had little look around yesterday morning in the trophy room and stuff like that, I haven't seen anything like that at another club, you can already see it is such a special club."
