Rangers could land Todd Cantwell NEXT WEEK with the midfielder set to pen a three-year deal according to a report.
The 24-year-old has emerged as one of Michael Beale's top January transfer targets and a deal for the Norwich City star is moving closer and closer. English Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers are also believed to be keen but a move to Ibrox in the coming days looks likely report the Scottish Sun.
Speaking about the Canaries midfielder, the Rangers boss said: “He is a player with a lot of ability and there will be a lot of interest in him. He is a player I like a lot, as I said last week. Out of respect, I can’t really say much more than that. You are not far off the track with what you are all insinuating.”

Everton midfielder Tom Davies could quickly follow Cantwell in the door with Rangers also tracking a deal for the English Premier League ace. Beale has revealed things have progressed well with targets and he is 'very positive'.
He said: "I'm pleased with where we are at in the window, these things take time. I didn't think anyone would be in before the weekend.
"I have been very busy along with Ross (Wilson) this week, these things are never as fast as fans want but I am very positive.
"I want anyone who joins us to be a core player and help us build for the next few seasons. I'm really pleased following chats with the board and across the club - we are all aligned.
"I don't want anyone hear short-term so that probably rules out six-month loan moves. I want people I can build around and there's going to be a change in the summer of some faces. Everyone is aware of that."
