Todd Cantwell has bluntly delivered his thoughts on Rangers' decision not to give Celtic a guard of honour tomorrow.
The midfielder insists he couldn't imagine the Hoops giving Rangers one if the shoe was on the other foot, as Ange Postecoglou's men get ready to rock up at Ibrox as Premiership champions.
And while he was relatively coy on the topic, Cantwell seemed to back up the club's decision.
Speaking to the media, when asked about the situation, the ex-Norwich player said: "That's way over my head! I do as I'm told on a matchday. We've got our normal regime and the idea from my end is we stick to that.
"Do I think it should happen? To be honest with the rivalry I can't imagine them doing that for us. I don't know but I can't imagine it has happened, so I would probably suggest it wouldn't."
Beale insisted it wouldn't be the right thing to do.
He confirmed the club's stance: "In the past it's been turned down and that has to be done I don't think they would want us to and in the stadium in front of our fans, I don't think it would be the right thing to do either.
"We have a lot of respect for them, they've clearly been the best team in the league, but it's been dealt with in the past and that takes it out of my hands thankfully."
