Rangers midfielder Todd Cantwell has playfully dismissed Chris Sutton, suggesting that the former footballer-turned-pundit is far from the best pundit in the land.
The interaction occurred on social media when a Twitter user posed the question of who is Scotland's best pundit.
And while Cantwell didn't provide an answer, he certainly knows who isn't in contention.
In his response, the Rangers star humorously stated, "I can tell you it isn't Chris Sutton."
The remark was accompanied by a winking face emoji, indicating his light-hearted intention.
Cantwell's playful comment alludes to several comments from Sutton regarding the former Norwich City man's character.
An incident in a 3-2 defeat at Celtic Park saw the English midfielder deny Celtic star Reo Hatate a drink from the Rangers' team water bottles.
Replying to a tweet that had branded Cantwell "a clown," Sutton replied: "Harsh on TC.
"In fairness to Todd he needed to make sure there was sufficient water saved to make his hair look good..."
Chris Sutton, known for his outspoken nature and strong opinions, has become a prominent figure in punditry since retiring from the game.
