Charlie Adam reckons Todd Cantwell is a 'great fit' for Rangers but says he will need to adopt a 'must-win' mentality to succeed in Glasgow.
Michael Beale looks set to make the Norwich City midfielder his first recruit since taking over as manager with reports stating a deal with the Canaries and the player have been agreed and a medical will take place over the weekend. The 24-year-old was in the final six months of his deal and had interest from the English Championship but has decided on a new challenge north of the border.
Former Ranger s star Adam - who experienced the biggest of occasions in Glasgow and also plyed his trade in England - believes the impending arrival has obvious talent and is at a good age but will need to adopt a different mindset from the off. The expectation at the Ibrox club is to win every single game - something that maybe isn't associated with the Carrow Road side. He's also warned the SPFL is a tough league and he will need to fit his feet quickly.

He told Grosvenor Sport : "Todd Cantwell will be a great fit for Rangers. He's at a good age and he's got obvious talent.
"Todd needs to find his feet. Players don't struggle when they come to Scotland, it's all about their mindset. The good players will do well.
"The SPFL is a tough league and if you play for Celtic or Rangers then you need to adopt a different mindset. At Norwich, the expectation isn't to win every week so Todd will need to adapt to the fact he will be expected to win games every week."
Cantwell is one of the names being linked with Rangers. Swansea City star Morgan Whittaker is another believed to be on the radar with reports claiming a £1.5million bid has already been booted out.
