Norwich City star Todd Cantwell is reportedly a target for Rangers – either this month or when he becomes unattached in the summer.
The 24-year-old is a looming free agent and is free to talk to other clubs now and it's understood he's on Ibrox boss Michael Beale's wishlist. Cantwell has been with the Canaries since he was a child but spent last season on loan at Bournemouth as his time at Carrow Road lost its spark.
Cantwell had been a contributor under former Dean Smith before he was dismissed and it's yet to be seen the role he will play under new man David Wagner. And the Scottish Sun state Rangers are open to either securing Cantwell's services now or bide their time and secure him as a free agent. The midfielder made four appearances for the England U21 side and netted seven times in his debut season in the Premier League back in the 2019-20 campaign.
