Chelsea have been told to offload both Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic in the upcoming summer transfer window. Todd Boehly, who is yet to be confirmed as the new Blues owner, has a big summer on his hands at the club.
Boehly's consortium have agreed a deal with Chelsea to become the new ownership group at the club, but the takeover is still yet to be finalised. However, it's understood that the American businessman is now as close as he's ever been to wrapping up the process.
Once everything is complete, it will be straight down to business for Chelsea, who will look to try and somehow reduce the gap to the Premier League's top two in Manchester City and Liverpool. That means a big summer transfer window is required.

The Blues are expected to try and sign a handful of players to help Thomas Tuchel in time for the 2022/23 season. In order for this to happen, though, it could rely heavily on who heads through the exit door at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have already been confirmed to leave the club once their contracts expire at the end of next month. Another two men that have been linked with moves away are Werner and Pulisic.
The German and the American have both been on the periphery this season under Tuchel. Ultimately, though, it's been another disappointing season for both attackers.
Werner has played 21 times in the Premier League this term, scoring just the four goals, as we head into Sunday's final match of the season against Watford. Pulisic, meanwhile, has made one more appearance, while scoring six goals in the top-flight.
Both were signed for big-money when they arrived at the club and could be sold on this summer to try and raise funds for major surgery within the squad. Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf and ex-West Ham United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop have now had their say on the two players.
Leboeuf, speaking to ESPN FC, via the Express, said: "Well I think our American audience won't be happy, but I think I would get rid of Mr Pulisic. I think there was a question mark about the fact that he was more influential with the national team than he is for Chelsea. And I think with the future of Chelsea, I don't see him playing a lot.
"So that's more advice than a fact of me willing to see him leaving. I think he wants to play next season, if he still wants to play Captain America, he will have to go to find another team to play [for].
"Because if Pulisic stays with Werner, [Kai] Havertz, [Mason] Mount and maybe another one coming, if there is a possibility for the club to do so, I don't see Pulisic playing. And he never showed it was absolutely crucial to have Christian in the first XI. So I think he will have to go."
Hislop added: "If I'm looking to offload attacking talent, I'm looking squarely at Timo Werner. One of the biggest earners at the football club.
"Though he has enjoyed decent runs under Thomas Tuchel, I don't think he's ever delivered. The challenge when you have a player like Timo Werner, who isn't producing and yet is one of the highest earners at the club, anyone coming in, that is going to be the bar.
"If you bring in any world-class talent, they are going to ask for Timo Werner money. You can't bring in five or six players and they all be on that kind of money."
