Todd Boehly was present at Stamford Bridge for the first time since Chelsea announced that they had an agreement to be the new Chelsea owner, subject to approval from the Premier League and the UK Government. There was not much to expect from the new boss as all he could do was watch along in his executive seats as the Blues took on Wolves. As far as first impressions go, Boehly gave the right one.
The Chelsea FC coverage ensured that Boehly was captured on screen several times, and each time he looked more interested in the game than the last. I guess there was the fear that he could have been a casual Chelsea fan, but it looks like his heart was in it. Following his visit to Stamford Bridge, here are a few things he might need to consider.

It was a warm welcome in the stadium for the new owners. The players looked much calmer and relaxed, as did the fans before kick-off. It felt like a heavy load had been lifted following Chelsea's official announcement of an agreement with Todd Boehly that came in the early hours of the day. Once the match started, however, the tensions crept back in, minute by minute.
Boehly reacted to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Timo Werner's disallowed goal just as any fan of the club would. A sense of disbelief followed the premature celebrations. Unfortunately, Chelsea didn't make it an easy watch for many of us. Despite having the lead, they managed to concede two goals in under 20 minutes. A point each was all the teams could salvage, but I guess Boehly can begin to think about where he needs to spend this summer.
The Necessities
I cannot stress this enough. After witnessing Chelsea's recent performances, the Blues desperately need a midfielder or two. The lack of control in midfield against Wolves is something for Boehly to think about and mark as a necessity for Chelsea to return to winning ways. Antonio Rudiger did not have a great match, but the introduction of Malang Sarr proves the importance of buying a new left-sided centre-back. Sarr only played for 10 minutes, but it was enough to suggest that he cannot be a long-term solution.
Jorginho and N'Golo Kante were wildly missed as Chelsea became sloppy in possession, especially from a midfield standpoint. Wolves won the midfield battles and came out on top against Thomas Tuchel's side. Although Mateo Kovacic is a perfect fit for the Blues, questions around Loftus-Cheek still need answering. Chelsea lost control of the midfield, and the right defensive midfielder would have gained it back.
Marcos Alonso was subbed off at half-time. Although he did not have a terrible game, he was sloppy in possession and slow to recover. The Spaniard could leave the Blues this summer, so that is another necessity for Boehly to tick off as soon as possible.
Not so urgent
There are other problems to fix in the Chelsea squad, but Rome was not built in a day. Judging the Wolves match, it would be nice to get a suitable replacement for Timo Werner. He has had ample opportunities to cement his place in the Chelsea starting XI, which he has now done. However, his loose balls and lack of finishing frustrated the Blues in attack.
The German has been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund according to 90 Min, so the Blues should have a head start in finding a suitable, clinical replacement for him if they decide to sell.
