Chelsea are reportedly lining-up a fresh offer in the region of £65million for Brighton star Moises Caicedo. The Blues saw their initial £55million bid rejected for the Ecuador international last week but Todd Boehly is not expected to give up on acquiring Caicedo’s services.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge following Graham Potter's appointment at SW6 in September. The midfield maestro is not the only asset of the Amex Stadium outfit tipped to reunite with Potter, with Leandro Trossard monitored prior to his move to Arsenal.
Chelsea have been busy throughout the January transfer window with six additions already made to Potter's squad. Noni Madueke's arrival on Friday follows Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos and David Datro Fofana through the door.

It's well reported that the club are keen to recruit a new central midfielder amid uncertainty over the future of Jorginho and N'Golo Kante. Benfica's Enzo Fernandez looked set to be Boehly's perfect addition earlier in the window after emerging as the club's number one target but negotiations failed to materialise.
Now, after seeing their first attempt turned down, Chelsea are set to test Brighton's resolve regarding Caicedo's services with an improved bid. That's according to the Mirror, who claim the Blues will launch another raid for one of Brighton's key assets with an offer in the region of £65million.
The report claims there's hope the value will be enough to tempt the Seagulls in allowing Caicedo to make the switch following Roberto De Zerbi's comments on Friday. "Moises Caicedo is very important for us. I hope he finishes the season with us, but it's always difficult to be certain when big clubs come in," the Brighton boss said.
"The best solution is that he finishes the season with us and for him, in the summer, it's better then if he changes teams."
Chelsea have 10 days remaining to conclude their winter business, with the January transfer window closing a week on Tuesday (August 31).
