Todd Boehly looks set to complete his first Chelsea transfer after sacking Graham Potter as manager on Sunday evening. The Blues have spent over £600million on new signings since Boehly and the Clearlake Capital consortium completed a £4.25billion takeover at Stamford Bridge.
Potter was selected as the man to replace Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea back in September last year but after six months in charge he has now suffered the same fate as the German. football.london understands Julian Nagelsmann is the favourite to replace Potter at Stamford Bridge after he was sacked as manager at Bayern Munich, with former Blues boss Tuchel replacing him at the German outfit.
Bruno Saltor is set to take charge of the west Londoners as interim manager for their Premier League clash against Liverpool whilst Boehly and Co. continue their search for a new head coach. Despite looking for a new manager to replace Potter, the Blues' transfer business is showing no signs of slowing down after the club reached a 'full agreement' to sign Ecuadorian wonderkid Kendry Paez from Independiente del Valle.

The Blues first made their move in February and with only his contract left to sign will welcome the teenager to the club. The midfielder was on the radar of Manchester United and Manchester City, with Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid also linked, but Chelsea have furthered their plans to bring the most exciting young talent to the club with the signing of Paez.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a deal to sign Paez could be signed this week for the Ecuadorian midfielder to join in 2025. Paez now looks set to become the latest to join that growing list in a package that could reach €20million (£17.6million).
Prospects such as Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana, Gabriel Slonina and several others have arrived in west London since Todd Boehly became Chelsea co-owner in May 2021.
