A further 8,656 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland — including 661 in Ayrshire.
Data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland show there are currently 1,360 patients with Covid in Scottish hospitals, which is up 93 from Friday.
There are currently 18 people being treated with the disease in ICUs across the nation.
No new deaths from the have been recorded within the last 24 hours, meaning the nation's Covid death toll remains at 10,869.
However, 13,316 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, February 20 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Meanwhile, there are 110 patients with Covid in Ayrshire hospitals — up 17 from Friday — while fewer than five people are being treated with the illness in the region's intensive care units.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, the Orkney Islands has the highest rate in the country – at 2,245.5 as of Sunday, March 6.
Na h-Eileanan Siar has the second-highest infection rate at 1,766 while the Shetland Islands is third with 1,359.9.
In terms of Ayrshire's three local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 1,340.5; North Ayrshire's rate stands at 1,113 while South Ayrshire's is 908.7.
Of the new cases reported in Ayrshire, 269 were in East Ayrshire, 231 were in North Ayrshire and 161 in South Ayrshire.

A total of 4,438,528 people have received one dose of a Covid vaccine; 4,162,451 are double jabbed and 3,451,358 people have received a third dose/booster.
