Today FM presenter Declan Pierce has returned home after an eight day stay in hospital after he suffered a brain haemorrhage.
The Dublin star revealed on Twitter that he is just home after the frightening experience, sharing a sweet pic of him hugging his daughter. Declan tweeted: "On Tuesday I got home after eight days in hospital following a brain haemorrhage. I’m making an incredible full recovery. I’m blessed beyond words.
"Massive love to my wife, my family, friends and colleagues at Today FM for unending support. I can't thank the team at Beaumont Hospital enough (Jack, Aoife, Deirdre especially).

"Also the paramedics at Dublin Fire Brigade," he added. On February 24, the Block Rockin Beats host told his social media followers that he would be offline for a couple of days due to personal reasons.
Pierce joined Today FM in 2010 as host of popular dance music show Block Rockin Beats which airs on the weekends. In an update this afternoon, Pierce tweeted: "Life is good. I’m feeling blessed. Getting stronger by the hour."
His celebrity friends and fans flocked to social media to wish him a speedy recovery. 98FM presenter Karl Dawson tweeted: "Sending you the biggest hugs Dec, my god mate. So happy you’re okay."
TV chef Nevin Maguire wrote: "What a powerful photo dec so good to hear your on the mend your one in a million hope your fully better soon." Dublin Fire Brigade also wished Declan well in his recovery, writing on Twitter: "Thanks for the message Dec and hope the recovery continues to go well.
