Described as a show in which rave meets rock, gig-goers can expect to hear tunes such as No Good (Start the dance) alongside Smells Like Teen Spirit and Beastie Boys’ Sabotage. Block Rockin Beats is a live venue and festival performance version of Dec Pierce’s radio show of the same name on Today FM.
Dec said of Block Rockin Beats: "The show is all about energy, nostalgia, and fun - it’s a concert but we want you to lose yourself for a few hours. We want you to go back in time to experience these classic anthems with a full live band and special guests on vocals. It’s a unique music and visual experience."
Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin Beats joins the line-up of already announced concerts for Fairview Park in June 2023. Popstar Becky Hill will play the venue on June 16 while The Coronas have been announced for Fairview Park for June 17.
2021 saw the park play host to a string of gigs including Olivia Rodrigo, Phoebe Bridgers, Primal Scream and Inhaler.
