TK Maxx shoppers 'can't believe their eyes' as Halloween décor arrives on store shelves

With the warmer weather and blazing sunshine finally here, many of us might take the opportunity to freshen up our home decor for the summer season.

We're talking vibrant tropical patterns and warm colours that make your home a bit lighter and brighter. Unfortunately, it looks like TX Maxx shoppers have found a range of homeware items for a completely different season - Halloween. The high-street retailer has decided to be a little earlier than most with their new range of spooky themed décor that has landed in stores this week and some shoppers have argued that it is "too soon".

From witches and skeletons to pumpkins and black cats, TK Maxx's Halloween range has everything you need to get ready for this year's spooky season in advance - three months in early.

One shopper shared snaps of the new range to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook where it quickly went viral with gobsmacked shoppers. The range includes mugs, coasters, cushions, decorations and plates. She captioned the snaps: "Halloween has landed in tk maxx and I couldn’t be happier".

The post quickly racked up over 2,000 likes and nearly 3,000 comments from unimpressed shoppers who couldn't believe what they were seeing.

"I couldn’t believe my eyes in Tkmaxx today! I mean I love autumn decor but it’s too soon", complained one shopper. "Love it but it’s too early! Let’s enjoy summer x", replied a second.

"Its July! Let's enjoy summer first", fumed a third.

"Saw a few bits Tuesday. Thought they where last year's stock at first and on offer till I saw the new in sign!. Bit early isn't it", responded a fourth.

Despite the backlash, there were many shoppers who couldn't wait to get their hands on the new decor and even said that the autumn season was their favourite.

"I think I technically need everything", responded one shopper.

"So excited I’m over summer now", responded a second.
