TK Maxx shopper left 'crying' at 'rude' £3.99 Easter decoration style blunder

A TK Maxx shopper was left "crying" after she showed off her sparkly new Easter decoration and found out that other shoppers thought it looked a little x-rated.

The savvy shopper picked up the seasonal ornament from the high-street retailer where it cost her just £3.99, as she thought it would bring the seasonal cheer to her home.

Unfortunately, quite a few shoppers were quick to tell the shopper the decorations style made it look a little bit ruder than it was initially intended.

The product in question is a colourful and sparkly flower covered Easter Egg, but its shape has left shoppers all making the same joke on social media.

Laura Reeves took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group on Facebook where she shared snaps of the ornament and it quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons, reports The Manchester Evening News.

She captioned the post: " "Not necessarily a bargain, but TK Maxx have some lovely Easter bits in. These are sooo sparkly and were only £3.99 each."

The shopper was left 'crying' at some of the comments being made about the decoration (Facebook/Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group)

But it wasn't long before comments started rolling in that caused Laura to update her caption to say: "*EDIT* absolutely crying at these comments."

Donna Tidiman joked: "50 Shades of Grey meets Stepford Wives."

Pauline O'Connor said: "Whole new meaning to flower power."

Lisalynne brown wrote: "I can't unsee it now!!"

Charlotte Carlin mocked: "Does it smell like poopourri?"

Courtney Campbell said the easter ornament "Looks explicit."

Lynsay Cutler commented: "If this is what we’re passing off as Easter decor now then I won't be needing to visit I’m good to go."

Joanne Jones said: "Ann summers new flower power lol."

The comments were so entertaining that many shoppers tagged their friends and one said: "Please read later with a cup of tea."

Following the X-rated jokes, Laura told the Manchester Evening News: " "I stupidly didn't realise that when I bought them but now I can't unsee it."

The £3.99 floral easter decoration is available in TK Maxx stores now.
