TK Maxx has issued a warning to shoppers who have bought a certain hanging egg chair in stores over the past year.
The retailer has recalled the Gardener’s Eden Blue Egg Chair, which was on sale in stores between May 2021 and June 2022, due to safety concerns. Shoppers have been instructed to stop using the chair and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store to receive a full refund.
A product recall notice on the TK Maxx website reads: “We have identified a quality issue with the Gardener’s Eden Blue Egg Chair. It is possible for the chair to tip over or collapse during use which may cause an injury.

Back in March, a product recall was also issued for the TK Maxx Urban Balcony Foldable Hanging Chair, with black frames and a grey cushion that will have a product code of 50245431 on receipts. A notice on the Gov.uk website said that the straps on the chair could fail during use, causing the chair to collapse and potentially leading to injury.
