Titans WR Treylon Burks to miss a few weeks with sprained LCL

The Titans’ season opener against the New Orleans Saints is about 25 days away, and this latest update at least gives Tennessee hope that it could have their second-year wideout on the field when the team opens the season up.

Truthfully, this is probably the best case scenario the Titans could’ve realistically hoped for as they avoid what would’ve been a brutal setback for someone who did everything right throughout the entire offseason to be ready for the 2023 season.

Whether it was his obvious dedication to his conditioning and overall development by staying in Tennessee or the glaring confidence he consistently displayed, it was clear that Burks was poised for a big leap in year 2.

This injury undoubtedly threw a wrench into those plans for now, but at least we know that Burks will be on the field again sometime in the near future.
