Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks suffered a scary injury during the Week 9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that led to him being down on the field for awhile before being carted off.
Burks went up for a pass down the sideline late in the fourth quarter and appeared to suffer a neck injury after hitting the ground hard. After some time on the field, Burks’ face mask was removed and he was put onto a stretcher before being carted off.
The first sign that Burks was OK came when he gave a thumbs up as he was carted off the field. But we also received a report during the game that Burks had movement in all of his extremities, which was fantastic news.
Treylon Burks has full movement in all of his extremities, per @KayleeHartung on the broadcast. 🙏 https://t.co/oWEBKCgXXw pic.twitter.com/NkLzmNs8zP

After the game, head coach Mike Vrabel revealed that Burks was “moving” and “alert” after the injury and Burks was spotted leaving the locker room under his own power, according to ESPN’s Turron Davenport.
