Titans work out DT Marvin Wilson following key injury

The Tennessee Titans are working out defensive tackle Marvin Wilson following Marlon Davidson’s season-ending injury in the team’s joint practice on Thursday, as KPRC 2 Houston’s Aaron Wilson first reported.

On Thursday, Davidson suffered a season-ending bicep injury in the Titans’ joint practice with the Seattle Seahawks.

Wilson, 25, is looking to return to the NFL after spending the 2023 NFL season with the USFL’s Birmingham Stallions. There, he registered 18 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and a 0.5 sack.

Prior to that, Wilson was with the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns after initially being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State. In a sample size, the 6-foot-5, 305-pound lineman recorded seven tackles in two games.

Wilson was a significant disruptor in four years at Florida State, amassing 110 tackles, including 15.5 for loss, 9.5 sacks, six pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
