The Tennessee Titans entered Week 18 with the No. 7 pick in the 2024 NFL draft — and that’s where they’ll end up after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, which subsequently knocked the division rival out of playoff contention.
Tennessee had a chance to move to as high as No. 4, but that was erased with the win. Tennessee avoided falling to No. 8 after the New York Jets handled business against the New England Patriots.
Based on the results of this week’s games, the Titans would’ve moved up to No. 6 had they lost after the New York Giants beat the Philadelphia Eagles.
The two other teams Tennessee needed to win in order to move up to No. 4, the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers, both lost their contests, but did so narrowly. In fact, the Chargers and Cardinals were both leading in the closing minutes.

While it might not seem like a lot, one spot could be the difference between the Titans landing one of the top-two left tackles in this year’s class, as there’s at least a decent chance Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu go in the top six.
We’ll find out in a matter of months whether or not that is the case when the 2024 NFL draft begins on April 25.
