The Tennessee Titans are set to host the Houston Texans in a division showdown inside the frozen confines of… Nissan Stadium?!
Saturday’s contest has the potential to be one of the coldest home games in franchise history, with the temperature at kickoff expected to be around single-digits.
As a result of the cold weather putting a strain on the power grid, the game has been delayed one hour, from noon CDT to 1 p.m. CDT.
Tennessee enters this AFC South showdown losers of four straight, with another loss on Sunday actually sending them to second place in the division despite having what felt like an insurmountable lead just a few weeks ago.
Should this scenario become a reality, both the Titans and Jaguars would be 7-8, with the tiebreaker temporarily going to Jacksonville since they currently own the head-to-head.
But there is one more matchup on the horizon in Week 18, which could be a winner-take-all game.
As for the Texans, a loss today would put them in prime position to clinch the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, ultimately allowing them to start focusing on which quarterback they inevitably will take come April.
Now that all that’s been covered, let’s get you caught up on how to watch all of this play out, as well as any other important information you need to know as we inch closer to the matchup between the Titans and Texans.

Betting odds
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Titans are three-point favorites over the Texans, with the over/under set at 35.5.
The spread has been cut by more than half since the start of the week thanks to Ryan Tannehill being ruled out, and the over/under has dropped 2.5 points, also.
The Titans have posted a record of 8-5-1 against the spread but have hit the over just five times in 14 games. Meanwhile, the Texans are 6-7-1 against the spread and have hit the over six times.
