The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans will square off in Week 15 in what will be the first of two matchups in three weeks.
The Titans are coming off one of the best comebacks you will ever see in Week 14 when they knocked off the Miami Dolphins, 28-27.
Tennessee is looking for its first back-to-back wins of the 2023 season, and the team hasn’t accomplished that feat since Weeks 10 and 11 of last season.
The Texans are coming off the complete opposite showing after they were trounced by the New York Jets, 30-6.
In addition to that, Houston won’t have quarterback C.J. Stroud, who is doubtful for this game due to a concussion, which drastically changes the outlook of this game. Veteran Case Keenum will reportedly take Stroud’s spot and not Davis Mills.
With the kickoff for this contest less than a day away, here’s a look at our staff picks and predictions for Week 15.
Our records
Mike Moraitis: 4-9
Shaun Calderon: 3-10
Shaun Calderon's pick
The Titans are coming off their most impressive win of the season, and I think they continue that momentum against a depleted Texans team that will likely be without a handful of key players.
Houston finds a way to keep it close for the most part, but in the end, Tennessee does enough to secure its second consecutive victory.
Final score prediction: Titans 27, Texans 17
Mike Moraitis' pick
Not having to deal with C.J. Stroud is a huge break for the Titans’ defense, which is coming off its best performance of 2023. Adding to that, Houston will be missing Will Anderson, making life a bit easier for Tennessee’s suspect offensive line.
The Titans’ defense puts the clamps on Case Keenum and Co. and Derrick Henry has another monster performance against Houston to put Tennessee over the top.
Final score prediction: Titans 24, Texans 16
