Titans trade 26th overall pick to Jets in swap of multiple selections

The Tennessee Titans are wheeling and dealing on the first night of the 2022 NFL draft after striking a deal with the New York Jets for the No. 26 overall pick.

Tennessee is sending the 26th (first round) and 101st (third round) overall selections to Gang Green in exchange for pick Nos. 35 (second round), 69 (third round) and 163 (fifth round).

This is the second trade of the night for the Titans, as they also dealt star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles in a deal that netted Tennessee pick Nos. 18 and 101.

Tennessee ended up using the 18th overall pick to take Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks, and have now flipped the 101st overall pick to trade out of their second first-round pick and add to their stable of selections.

With this trade, the Titans now have the second-round pick they were missing, and own a pair of picks in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.
