Titans submitted claims on two other players Wednesday

The Tennessee Titans came away with cornerback Kindle Vildor during what was a busy waiver period on Wednesday, the first since teams cut their rosters down to 53 players on Tuesday.

But Vildor wasn’t the only player the Titans tried to claim. The team also attempted to grab two rookies in wide receiver Elijah Higgins, who was claimed by the Arizona Cardinals, and guard Nick Broeker, who was scooped up by the Houston Texans.

Higgins was the most popular player on waivers, with five teams trying to claim him, including the Cardinals, Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders and Green Bay Packers.

Broeker was the only other player with more than two claims, a list that included the Texans, Cardinals, Titans and New York Giants.

Broeker was originally drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills, while Higgins went in the sixth round to the Miami Dolphins.

As for Vildor, he’s a good depth addition for the Titans. Not only does he have starting experience, but he can play inside and out while also contributing on special teams.
