The Tennessee Titans had such a poor showing in 2024 that they landed themselves the top pick in the 2025 NFL draft. It’s both a blessing and a curse to select first, on one hand, you literally get to pick whichever player you want, and on the other hand, it’s overwhelming to consider and balance what your team needs.
The Titans will do their own evaluations, film watching, player interviews, scouting, etc., to determine who they select with that first pick. But, in the meantime, it’s fun to try and predict who they will take. To that end, NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks released his latest mock draft, and he thinks the Titans will select quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
1. Tennessee Titans: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders
Second-year head coach Brian Callahan and new general manager Mike Borgonzi jump-start the Titans’ rebuild with a franchise quarterback boasting big-game moxie and experience engineering program turnarounds.
Sanders is one of a handful of players the Titans are predicted to choose at the end of April. Other considerations are Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, and Cam Ward, all of whom had fantastic collegiate seasons in 2024. However, Brian Callahan has already met Sanders and likes what he’s seen so far, so he currently has a leg up on other candidates.
The Titans have roughly three months to decide who they want to select with that top pick, or if they’re going to trade back. Nothing is off the table for Tennessee with this draft, and watching it unfold should prove to be entertaining.
