The Tennessee Titans have laid an egg throughout the 2023 season, and Sunday was no different in an embarrassing 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans.
Simply put, Tennessee came out today like a team that is ready for the offseason to begin.
To make matters worse, the Titans’ horrendous offensive line got its talented young quarterback, Will Levis, injured again. At this point, there really is no reason to play him next week, even if he’s healthy enough to go.
If there were any positives to take away from this game, it’s the fact that both Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins eclipsed 1,000 yards for the year.
Outside of that, this was the type of game that you couldn’t wait for it to end.
Tennessee has now dropped to 5-11 on the year and is on the cusp of securing a top-seven draft pick. Let’s take a look at some of the post-game reactions following the Titans’ 23-point loss to the Texans.
After dragging Will Levis down seven times two weeks ago, the Texans sacked Levis and Ryan Tannehill six times in a miserable 26-3 loss in Houston.
The #Titans are 5-11, guaranteeing their worst season since 2015.
They have one more shot next week, home against the Jaguars, to… pic.twitter.com/7TGmfmCG2a

The #Titans are now 0-5 in AFC South games this season.
If they lose to Jacksonville next weekend, they will go winless in division games for the first time since… the 1982 Houston Oilers (nine game regular season). pic.twitter.com/Ig90qiH9Pn

You know your team is TRASH when the graphic for your broadcast shows that the color analyst was a 1st round draft pick for another team in 1993

What is there to be optimistic about if you are a Titans fan? Other than the season ending in a week.

Titans should pay us to show up next week.

Even if he's fine, I don't want to see Levis play another snap. Shut it down.

It’s almost unbelievable how bad the #Titans collective left tackles have been. It’s an instant loss damn near every obvious passing situation.

Multiple bad NFL teams legitimately competing today and the #Titans were never even close

This might be because the season is almost over but this is the first time that I’ve seen the team seem to quit and not care…#Titans #Titanup

I hope you’re all glad Will Levis is getting this fantastic experience today.

Dillard beat again. The fact that he's playing today is a joke. Give someone else a look we already know he stinks.
