The Tennessee Titans are on the hunt for a new general manager after parting ways with Ran Carthon after no improvement was seen with the team in 2024. To that end, the Titans sent out requests to several teams on Wednesday looking for permission to interview prospective candidates. One such letter was sent to the Miami Dolphins, the Titans want to talk to Reggie McKenzie, their senior personnel executive.

McKenzie has been around the game of football for many, many years, dating back to his college playing days at Tennessee. As a professional in the NFL, McKenzie played linebacker from 1985-1992 before joining the Green Bay Packers in 1994 as a player personnel assistant.
He remained with the Packers through 2011, joining the Oakland Raiders in 2012 as their general manager through 2018. He became the Dolphins senior personnel executive in 2019, where he has spent the last six years.
Given his connection to Tennessee from his college days, his decades of experience with player personnel, and his professional playing experience, McKenzie has a unique set of tools that the Titans could take advantage of when building a team for the future. No interview date has been set yet, but this article will be updated with the latest information as it comes in.
