Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault by strangulation last month after an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend on June 22.
A trial date has now been set in the case. According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, the trial date will be August 30, which is one day after final cuts on August 29.
Haskins was drafted by the Titans in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft and appeared in 15 games (one start), playing mostly on special teams. He figured to be the team’s No. 3 running back in 2023 behind Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears.

However, his status with the team is obviously up in the air, pending how the legal situation plays out and what facts come to light. As of now, he’s set to report to training camp on July 25.
If Haskins is found to have done the awful things he is accused of, he will certainly and rightly be release.
