The Tennessee Titans made a total of four roster moves on the Friday before their Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns.
After suffering an ankle injury at practice during the week, wide receiver Kearis Jackson has been placed on injured reserve, the team announced. Jackson will miss at least the next four games.
Buy Titans TicketsTaking his spot on the roster is fellow wide receiver Mason Kinsey, who was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. Chances are Kinsey will handle punt and/or kick return duties while Jackson is out.
Now, a look at the rest of the moves the Titans made on Friday.
LB Otis Reese: Waived
Reese was one of the biggest surprises to make the Titans’ initial 53-man roster. He played 32 snaps on special teams over two games but none on defense.
O-T-I-S will likely be brought back on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
LB Chance Campbell: Promoted from practice squad
Taking Reese’s place on the 53-man roster is 2022 sixth-round pick and linebacker, Chance Campbell, who fell short of making the initial 53-man roster and has been on the practice squad since.
If he sees the field, Campbell will be making his NFL debut on Sunday after missing all of his rookie campaign due to injury.
