Titans’ Perry Carter added to Senior Bowl coaching staff

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is an outstanding event and one that will be extremely important for the Tennessee Titans this year. Coming in with the first overall pick and large list of needs across their roster, any extra access to players can be helpful.

This year, coaching Assistant Perry Carter will serve as the National Team’s Special Teams Coordinator. This announcement coincided with the release of the names of the 120-plus players who have accepted invitations to participate in the 2025 installment of the annual all-star game.

This is a huge honor and opportunity for Carter, who joined the Titans in 2024 as part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program established to promote diversity within the sports industry.

For the second year in a row, the Senior Bowl will host draft-eligible underclassmen on top of the traditional players that would be invited, giving coaches a chance to not only work with the players, but also to get to know many of the top prospects.

The game itself will be held on Saturday, February 1, but the real data will come from the practices leading up to the game. This is where having a coach like Carter taking part will benefit the Titans, especially as the special teams coordinator who will get to evaluate and work with every player on the National roster.
