As we’ve discussed in a previous article, Tennessee Titans kicker Nick Folk is on the verge of breaking Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker’s NFL record of 70 consecutive sub-40-yard field goals made.
The Titans kicker tied the record in London with Tucker in attendance after making all three of his attempts in the Week 6 loss to the Ravens. Folk has been perfect on the year, making all 16 of his field goals, which includes 10 attempts from under 40 yards.
His streak of 70 straight successful sub-40-yard field goals dates back to 2017, when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now, he has the chance to break the record in front of the home crowd inside Nissan Stadium.
The veteran kicker is also on the verge of potentially setting a franchise record set by Rob Bironas and Al Del Greco.
Bironas made 20 consecutive field goals three separate times over his career, while Del Greco made 20 straight kicks from 1998 through1999. Folk is now just four successful attempts from tying the franchise record, and five away from breaking it altogether.

The Arizona product currently owns the eighth-longest streak in franchise history, trailing only Bironas, Del Greco, and Ryan Succop, all of whom have made 18 consecutive kicks at least once throughout their Tennessee tenure.
