Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel discussed what’s ahead for running back Derrick Henry in practice this week, and he touched on the team’s upcoming playoff opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals.
Henry remains on Injured Reserve but has been designated to return. The expectation is that Henry will be activated this week and play in the Divisional Round game against the Bengals.
Vrabel says that this week of practice is a big one for Henry in terms of him getting acclimated. When he takes the field on Saturday, this will be Henry’s first game since he suffered a serious foot injury against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.

Vrabel also talked about the Bengals’ potent passing attack, which is led by quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. He rightly calls Cincinnati’s unit “really explosive” and noted that Tennessee didn’t have answers for it when these two teams met in 2020.
Mike Vrabel on #Bengals Joe Burrow/Jamar Chase:
A lot of talent. The trust, connection is there down the field. Whether it's back shoulder, quick game. He has that w/Higgins and Boyd. He has the ability to extend plays and keep his eyes down the field to get those guys the ball.— TURRON DAVENPORT (@TDavenport_NFL) January 17, 2022
#Titans' Vrabel: Bengals are "really explosive, we didn't have many answers for them last year."

Vrabel on #Bengals WRs: You can either cover them really good or rush them really good. Hopefully we do both. #Titans
