Titans’ Mike Vrabel softens stance on dismembering himself to win Super Bowl

Back in 2019, Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel joked he would cut off his junk just to win a Super Bowl while appearing on Bussin’ With The Boys, but he appears to not be as gung-ho to do so these days.

“Been married 20 years. Yeah, probably,” Vrabel said back in 2019. “She’d (Jen Vrabel) be like do you want me to do it? Do you want to do it now?”

Vrabel was a guest on The Pat McAfee Show recently and said “I doubt it” when initially asked if he’d still dismember himself to win a title.

“Oh, I don’t know. I’ve given that some thought. I doubt it,” Vrabel said.

When asked if he’d be willing to do it if it could be reattached one year later, Vrabel was on board with that idea.

“Yeah. One year? Yeah I’d do it. One year.”

Now there’s the coach we know and love. Vrabel’s willingness to make such a sacrifice remains unmatched. We were starting to question his dedication before Vrabes saved himself with his final answer.

After four winning seasons, two straight division titles and an NFL Coach of the Year award, the Titans rewarded Vrabel with a contract extension this offseason. He’ll once again look to get Tennessee over the hump in 2022.
