Titans’ Malik Willis already has a nickname, and it’s a good one

Tennessee Titans quarterback Malik Willis hasn’t even been with the team for a full day yet and he already has a nickname.

Willis, who was taken in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft by Tennessee after an unexpected slide (he was once considered a first-round pick), will now be tasked with eventually taking the reins from Ryan Tannehill.

When that happens remains to be seen, but most figure Willis will need a full year of development before he’s ready — and that’s fine, as Tannehill was already locked into the starting role for 2022.

As far as his nickname is concerned, it didn’t take long for “Music City Malik” to catch on, with a helping hand from the Titans themselves.

Of course, the nickname will only end up being as good as possible if Willis pans out, but do we approve? Let us know in the poll below.
