Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel met with the media on Tuesday and gave some injury updates on several players.
The biggest story of the day, however, was the Titans naming rookie signal-caller Will Levis the starter over veteran quarterback Ryan Tannehill, which was the expected decision.
On the injury front, when asked about Tannehill’s status for Week 10, Vrabel did not say whether or not he would be ready to go. If Tannehill can’t play, Malik Willis will serve as the backup to Levis.
One player we did not get an update on was offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, who exited the Week 9 contest early due to a shoulder injury. A report from Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky on Monday stated that NPF would likely miss the remainder of the season, as the injury will require surgery.
Now, a look at the updates from Vrabel on cornerback Roger McCreary, right tackle Chris Hubbard, wide receiver Treylon Burks and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting.
In addition, a report on the status of offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill.
CB Sean Murphy-Bunting
Murphy-Bunting entered the Week 9 game with a thumb issue before exiting with the same injury following the first series of the game. He won’t be on the practice field on Tuesday, Vrabel said, which puts his status in question.

WR Treylon Burks
Burks is likely to miss Week 10, the Titans head coach said. This is Burks’ second concussion in as many seasons, so he may end up missing multiple games.
The Arkansas product previously missed three games this season with a knee injury and missed a total of six last season, including two because of the aforementioned concussion.
#Titans coach Mike Vrabel said WR Treylon Burks is in concussion protocol and doesn’t anticipate him playing this week

RT Chris Hubbard
Hubbard exited the Week 8 game early due to a concussion. Vrabel did say he will return to practice this week, which obviously gives him a great chance to play. However, he remains in concussion protocol.
Mike Vrabel says that RT Chris Hubbard should be able to practice this week but hasn't passed concussion protocols yet. #Titans

CB Roger McCreary
McCreary has missed the last two weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered in practice. Vrabel said the second-year cornerback, who has arguably been the team’s best this season, should be good to go in Week 10.

RG Daniel Brunskill
We didn’t get an update from Vrabel, but Terry McCormick of Titan Insider reports that Brunskill is likely to play despite being banged up. It isn’t clear what he’s dealing with.
Being told that #Titans RG Daniel Brunskill is plenty banged up, but will likely play through his issues.
