The Tennessee Titans continue to explore their options ahead of the 2024 NFL draft, with the team reportedly having hosted Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton on a top-30 visit.
According to Justin Melo of Music City Miracles, the visit occurred last month. Here’s more on Guyton, per Melo:
Guyton is an athletically gifted tackle with rare movement skills. Guyton relies on that athleticism to be a dominant blocker in pass protection. There are some technical advancements required for Guyton to reach his full potential, however. Placement and timing of his punch is currently inconsistent. Guyton also has a tendency to expose his chest in pass protection. These are fixable warts, especially under a terrific offensive line coach like Bill Callahan.
Guyton figures to go in the middle to late first round, so he could be an option if the Titans end up trading back from No. 7 overall, which is certainly possible if Joe Alt or one of the top three receivers is gone.
The Oklahoma product played mostly at right tackle during his college career but has the tools to slide to the left side, where the Titans still have a major hole to fill.
