The Tennessee Titans are one of two teams reportedly interested in the services of veteran linebacker and former Las Vegas Raider, Denzel Perryman, with the other being a division rival.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the Houston Texans are also in on Perryman, with both teams showing “strong interest.”
Also according to Wilson, the Texans have setup a visit with the 30-year-old linebacker, with that set to take place on Thursday. As of this writing, there is no known visit set between the Titans and Perryman.
Tennessee’s interest in Perryman is understandable given the fact that their current group of linebackers is very young, even the projected starters.

As of right now, Monty Rice and Azeez Al-Shaair stand to be the starters, but Rice has just 23 games under his belt, including only 10 as a starter, while Al-Shaair is the elder statesman of the two, with 56 games played and 31 starts over his four-year career.
I would also take Tennessee’s strong interest as an indicator that they may not be 100 percent sold on Rice, but that remains to be seen.
Perryman is coming off an injury-shortened 2022 campaign due to a torn labrum. However, his recovery is going well and he’s expected to be fully cleared by April, per Wilson.
In 2021, Perryman was a tackle machine, notching a total of 154, which was good for sixth-best in the NFL, which earned him a Pro Bow nod.
