Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Keondre Coburn was recognized for his play on the field in the team’s 17-13 win in Week 1 of the preseason against the San Francisco 49ers.
Pro Football Focus’s Gordon McGuiness recently published his NFL preseason Week 1 Team of the Week, and Coburn was one of two interior defensive linemen to make the list.
The 24-year-old was credited with two tackles and a half sack on former Titans quarterback Josh Dobbs late in Saturday’s game.

Coburn is trying to make the Titans roster after being signed off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad late last season. The Texas product was initially drafted by the Chiefs in the sixth round, 194th overall, in the 2023 NFL draft but was waived mid-season.
The Denver Broncos claimed Coburn, waived him a month later, and the Chiefs added him back to the team’s practice squad.
With defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons not expected to play in the preseason, Coburn is likely to have every opportunity to make this roster. He was listed in a second-string role on the Titans’ first unofficial depth chart beyond 2024 second-round pick T’Vondre Sweat.
Coburn made appearances in five games between the Titans and Chiefs last season and recorded a combined eight tackles, including one loss.
