The Tennessee Titans threw up an absolute stinker in their Week 16 game against the Houston Texans in front of their home crowd, losing 19-14.
Making matters worse, fans in attendance had to deal with the bitter cold, and they sat through a one-hour delay in the process in order to watch their team implode once again and lose the division lead.
Now that’s dedication — and that isn’t lost on Titans safety Kevin Byard and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, both of whom took to social media following the game to thank the fans for coming out.
Adding to that, both made it clear they are not content with what is going on with the team right now and will do their best to right the ship.
Titans fans – We see you, and we appreciate you. You showed up for us in the cold today, and we need to show up for you.
As a leader, I am going to try my hardest to help right this ship! We appreciate all the love and support! Merry Christmas, everyone. 🎄

In what has been a disastrous five weeks for the team and its fans, these are exactly the types of positive messages needed in the sea of negativity that rightly surrounds this franchise at the moment.
