Tipping Point viewers hail 'most beautiful contestant ever' before she makes fatal mistake

Tipping Point viewers were thrilled to see the "most beautiful contestant ever" when they tuned into the show on Monday.

ITV bosses are currently showing reruns of the programme as host Ben Shephard recovers from a leg injury.

But despite it being a repeat episode, fans were left taken aback by the "beautiful" and "lovely" Bethany, who hails from Hertfordshire.

Contestants Roy, Bethany, Luke and Zoe were vying to win the game and viewers were convinced Bethany would take home the prize, until she made a fatal mistake and ended up being booted off the show.

One fan shared: "I hope Bethany wins, she seems to be the kindest #TippingPoint."

Bethany decided to skip her own turn and give it to Zoe, despite the fact there were counters hanging over the edge of the machine and when it eventually came to her go, she failed to get any counters down.

"That'll teach Bethany to pass, especially when counters are hanging over the edge," one fumed, adding: Why would you pass?" one viewer wrote on Twitter.

Another added: "Well you shouldn't have passed Bethany should you."

A third wrote: "Bethany - how generous. What an own goal that was! #tippingpoint."

But she made a mistake and crashed out of the show (ITV)

Last month, Ben revealed he had ruptured his ACL, tore his meniscus and fractured his leg.

He said at the time: "A few weeks to go, you may remember I played in the Cup Final of the Arthur Dunn veterans cup, my old boy's team.

"We won the Cup Final, but I started with two legs and ended with one.

"Without realising, I have ruptured my ACL, I've torn the meniscus and I've fractured part of my leg as well."

Ben has since had surgery on his leg and recently quipped he has the support of a "bionic" leg to help him through his physio and rehabiliation.

He wrote: "Right just trying to stimulate the quad while reducing the swelling around my knee.

"Gone full bionic leg, @complex_uk @physiolabtechnologies."

Ben admitted it would be a "very slow, long rehab" back to full strength.

He shared: "So they've repaired the ACL and meniscus and now starts the rehab - very slow, long, rehab.

"Have to say, the painkillers seem to be doing the job right now!"
