Timothee Chalamet has shared photographs of some of the mail that he receives from adoring fans.

The Call Me By Your Name actor took to social media last night (18 November) to post images of his fan mail in a series of Instagram stories.

A number of cardboard boxes and parcels can be seen in the first photo. In the foreground of the picture, a letter posted from Japan that is addressed to the international star kindly requests Chalamet’s autograph if it’s “not too much trouble”.

Among the other gifts that he has received are eight pairs of brightly coloured socks neatly bound with blue ribbon and organised in a box.

Also pictured are two sequinned pillows adorned with Chalamet’s face, as well as a t-shirt featuring a drawing of the Beautiful Boy actor wearing a striped shirt and suit.

Among the more personal gifts is a “photo book” compiled by a fan using pictures from their trip to Crema. The city in northern Italy is the setting for one of Chalamet’s most famous films Call Me By Your Name in which he stars opposite Armie Hammer as Elio Perlman.

In an attached post-it note addressed to the 24-year-old, the superfan wrote: “I want to share my beautiful summer days that you made possible!

“I don’t think it’s enough for you king of photography, but I hope you enjoy it!”

Chalamet also shared a photo of what appears to be a handmade blue ceramic mug, personalised to feature the titles of some of the actor’s previous and future movies: The King, Little Women, The French Dispatch and Dune.

Posting images of fanmail is rare for a celebrity, especially one with as huge a profile as Chalamet. It is not the first time, however, that the actor has shared his appreciation for his fans and their mail.

He is known for wearing many of the gifts that his fans send him, both during press events and for general use.

In August this year, the actor was pictured with a fan in New York wearing a cap that another fan had sent him from South Korea.
