Timo Werner's agency Sports 360 are refusing to comment on reports in Germany linking the Chelsea forward with Newcastle United.
Werner's wages of £272,000 per week do not fit in with Newcastle's wage structure but nevertheless, his representatives are testing the water by offering him around a host of clubs in Europe. A price tag of £33million has been slapped on the Chelsea man.
The £53million man is, according to reports in Bild, attracting interest from the Magpies but when approached the German-based agency, who look after Fabian Schar's affairs, said they were unable to confirm anything on Werner's future. Newcastle have maintained a dignified silence on most names they have been linked with throughout the window due to the sheer volume of reported targets which have emerged after their Middle East takeover.

Werner is believed to have been offered around clubs this summer as he is not guaranteed regular football ahead of the World Cup. RB Leipzig and Juventus have also been linked and Werner has indicated he would be keen for a move "anywhere" which helps him keep his place in the Germany squad for the tournament in Qatar.
Werner, who is on tour with Chelsea in the the US, was asked about his future and replied: "I could be happy anywhere. I'm happy when I play and score goals. I should take care of that and the other things will come.”
Werner now has increased competition at Chelsea after the arrival of Raheem Sterling. Chelsea were walloped 4-0 by Arsenal in pre-season in the States and during the game an on-field spat between Malang Sarr and Werner resulted in the French centre-back complaining to Thomas Tuchel about the forward.
