Djed Spence has explained his summer plans amid plenty of transfer talk surrounding his immediate future.
The 21-year-old wing-back is the subject of transfer interest from a number of clubs, including Nottingham Forest, after his excellent loan spell at the City Ground last season.
It has been an incredibly busy season for the young Middlesbrough defender, playing 53 matches throughout the campaign for Boro, Forest and at England Under-21 level.

Spence will almost certainly be playing in the Premier League next season. Reports earlier in the week claimed that Spence has expressed a preference to join Spurs over Forest and other interested clubs this summer. It appears the lure of Champions League football could be too great to turn down.
After a 61-minute showing for Lee Carsley's Young Lions in a 2-1 defeat to Slovenia - where he was booed by some sections of the home support in Huddersfield - Spence took to social media to comment about his summer.
Alongside two pictures of him on international duty, Spence said on Instagram: "Season officially over & qualifications for the Euros. Time to rest & recover. See you all next season."
Fellow Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson commented to show his support, saying: "Been a pleasure this season lad". England cricketer and Reds fan Stuart Broad added: "Forest legend where ever you go."
Regardless of who he joins, fellow Forest loanee Garner believes the wing-back is capable of playing in England's top-flight.
The Manchester United man said: "He has been excellent this season. He is a dream to play with. He's so fast and very good one-v-one going forward and defending. He's got it all as a full-back or wing-back where ever he plays. The future looks very bright for him.
"I feel there's no reason why he can't [play in the Premier League]. He's had just as good a season as I've had if not better. I feel he could play in the Premier League right now."
