Time magazine releases striking cover showing White House transforming into Kremlin

The message seems to be pretty clear.

For the first time in more than a decade, Time magazine’s front has abandoned a cover line and instead given over the space to a drawing of Donald Trump’s White House, morphing into the Kremlin.

The cover was published after a flurry of news that shook Washington, including the claim that he leaked sensitive information to the Russian foreign minister, sacked FBI Director James Comey, asked Mr Comey to drop an investigation into Michael Flynn.

On Wednesday, it was announced the Department of Justice had appointed Robert Mueller as a special counsel to take charge of the probe into alleged links between the Trump campaign and Moscow.

Time’s executive editor Matt Vella, wrote on Twitter: “Our new cover this morning, it’s been a decade since @TIME did not have a cover line.”
