It’s all love between star Timberwolves wing Anthony Edwards and his teammate Rudy Gobert.
Gobert has been reportedly working on adding range to his game offensively, as he tries to evolve from a traditional back-to-the-basket, rim-protecting big man.
That doesn’t mean that Edwards thinks Gobert should take a bunch of long twos, or threes, for that matter. The center has taken 14 three-pointers during his 10 NBA seasons, missing all of them.
“Hey, record that today. Mark that today. October 3rd, Tuesday in Abu Dhabi. If Rudy shoots a three in a real NBA game, I’m walking off the court. Take me out,” Edwards joked in front of his teammates.
Anthony Edward does not want to see any Rudy Gobert 3s 😂😂

Edwards and Gobert established a budding relationship as teammates last season in Gobert’s first year with the Timberwolves, and will certainly be an important part of the roster’s quest to compete in the West this season.
But as Edwards notes, that should be with Gobert protecting the rim and being a force on the block, just as he has been his entire career.
